Congratulations to Mikey on passing his bike test, the final member of the enduro team to gain their licence. All now have full bike licences so are well on the way to europe. All they need now are some bikes! is there anyone out there who can help?

Stage two of this great adventure has now been completed as the riders shown below have all progressed on to a 500cc machine ready for the DAS course next week, There now follows two intense days of riding followedby their practical test on wednesday. All riders have progressed well and are on target for the test.

Enduro Europe Riders CBT

The First stage of the great adventure has been completed as the team (pictured above) all completed their CBT on 6th January 2008. Four instructors were on hand to guide them through the course. Despite the weather not being great, the team all managed to complete the course just before it got dark. They will all be completing their conversion on to a 500cc machine on sunday 13th January.Picture: Rear: Brian, Tony, Leigh, Russell (Phoenix Training)  Front: Mike, Mikey, Flick, Sarah ( The Riders)

Instructor Course October 2007

Congratulations to the first three Instructors to pass their assessment at Cardington first time!

After completing the Phoenix Instructors Course in October the first three instructors, Brian Hodgson, Vince Thornton and David Spicer have passed their Driving Standards Agency assessment at Cardington and are now fully qualified motorcycle instructors. They will all be starting Phoenix Motorcycle Training schools in their own area taking advantage of the Franchise opportunity which Phoenix now offer. The first Approved Training Body starting will be Phoenix Motorcycle Training Torbay which will go live in January 2008. Details of the location and contact details for the school are on the home & contacts pages.  Look out for new Phoenix schools opening in your area early in the new year.

Tisbury Carnival 2007

Another success!! We won the trade entry again this year with PHOENIX KNIGHTS and retained the cup for another year. Clare agreed to be damsel in distress and ride on the float and the knights consisted of Tony, Dave and Marcus, whilst the lady knights were Alison and Anne.

Thanks to all those who supported the event.

Anglesey Track day 22 June 2007

In an attemt to ride all the tracks in the UK before I get too old, I took myself off to Anglesey to ride the International gp circuit.I was lucky enough to be one of the first riders to ride the track on the first motorcycle track day since the track was refurbished. In the whole of Wales, Anglesey was the only place that seemed to have sun on the very day we rode the track, so whilst stories of flooding could be heard on the news in other parts of the country, we had a glorious day with sun all the way.

The track was awsome! 12mts wide with a virgin surface which gripped like sh.. to a blanket you could throw the bike around with no fear of slipping. The track, as can be seen from the map has just as many left hand curves as right hand ones so it is one of the few circuits where you can wear out both knee sliders for a change!

The track is on the coast so the views are breathtaking, that is if you have the time to look when your throwing yourself around the track at over 100mph. It is very technical and requires a good deal of concentration if it is to be ridden well, in fact if you take your eye off the line for a second you could find yourself on the newly planted grass. A great day and to be recommended if you find yourself in north Wales at any time. Thanks to HOTTRAX for organising a great day.

My next track days are going to be Croft and Knock Hill in August. The International gp circuit
