Hi Robin
Thank you for todays lesson,
After a long break from riding a motorcycle I decided to get in touch with Phoenix Motorcycle Training Ewell and spoke to the instructor Robin to book a Back To Biking lesson. I felt a bit nervous on the day but Robin greeted me with a warm welcome and reassured me there is no pressure, he is polite and explained things very clearly and has the patience of a saint which put me at ease straight away.
The lesson went very well and my confidence returned, so I decided to book an Enhanced Rider Scheme lesson.
The ERS is brilliant, the instruction you get from Robin is second to none and putting it into practice on the day was a great experience, the techniques I learnt have made me a more competent, safer rider which makes riding a motorbike even more enjoyable than it already is.
Thank you so much Robin, I will definitely recommend you to others.

I cannot recommend Robin and Pheonix Motorcycle Training enough. True genuine professionals. True genuine gentlemen. Expert riders giving expert tuition. Clear concise instruction and safe riding drills made for passing modules 1 and 2 a breeze! I really can't thank them enough!
Their off road facility is in a large safe environment to learn as a complete beginner. With endless patience and plenty of tea and chocolate biscuits on hand when your concentration starts to fade!! Yum!
Pheonix are all about turning out quality riders, not quantity.
The roads around the Pheonix school are quiet for venturing out and putting into practice what you have learned off road. Gradually leading you through to more complex roads and road situations when you are ready.
The Pheonix bikes are all well maintained and in perfect working order. Not held together with gaffer tape and luck as I have seen elsewhere!!
The rider equipment is clean and pristine. The radio equipment is clear.
After having a bad riding experience (elsewhere) I really can compare. The whole experience with Pheonix from start to finish has been totally professional and I have truly enjoyed every second of riding with them.
After starting off very nervous I have left feeling like a 'biker'!! I can begin my biking career with a good solid grounding. I will be back to do my Enhanced Rider Scheme course! Watch

I would Just like to say a big thank you to Robin for his patience and getting me through the DAS. Passed MOD2 this morning, strong winds but the rain held off! As Robin would say 'Job Done'!

Firstly may I say thanks for a really enjoyable days riding and tuition yesterday.
I must say that having not been on a bike for some length of time I was a little nervous but you soon put me at ease with some of the basics. Once out on the road it was great to get instant feedback and interaction about the different riding techniques required for differing road conditions and where I needed to position the bike. The reviews of what we had done when we stopped were just as useful.
I will have no hesitation in returning/recommending you for future training needs.

My Daughter and I enjoyed a free taster session on Sunday morning with Robin from Phoenix at Danetree School, West Ewell. We absolutely loved it - Robin was charming and soon encouraged us to start riding the Bikes around the school playground very confidently. The machines were in beautiful condition (Me on a 125 manual and she on a 125 auto scooter).
Robin had all the gear (I had arrived with BBQ gloves!!) so we were soon zipped up with Hi-vis jackets , gloves and helmet. Totally enjoyable hour in the sun and we will be back to do our CBT in August!! - Thanks alot!

"I have been riding since 1968, have owned numerous big bikes, and have licenses from the US and Brazil. But in spite of many lessons with 2 very reputable schools in London, I had problems passing Module 2 until I met Robin Sheard from Phoenix.
Apart from being a really nice man, he was patient and yet thorough and got me through Modules 1 and 2 on my first tries.
What I found so intriguing is that not only did my motorcycle riding change, but so did my automobile driving. All due to his focus on Observation and Anticipation.
I highly recommend him. He's an excellent instructor.
